Online Demo

Online demo of Photo Editor you can find on our site: http://demo.aurigma.com/PhotoEditor/.

System Requirements
On the client side, one of the following Web browsers should be used:
  • Internet Explorer 6.0 or later.
  • Firefox 2.0 or later.
  • Safari 2.0 or later.
On the server side, the following software should be installed and registered:
  • Windows XP/Server 2003/Server 2008/Vista/7.
  • IIS 5 or later.
  • .NET Framework 2.0 or later. The Mono platform is not supported.
  • ASP.NET 2.0 AJAX Extensions 1.0 (can be downloaded from Microsoft site).
Some additional software required by Photo Editor is already included in the package by default, and there is no need to download this software unless you want to edit its source code. The list of additional software is the following:Installation
  1. Unpack PhotoEditor.zip archive to your Web server folder (typically C:\inetpub\wwwroot\).
  2. Convert this folder to application:
    1. Open the IIS Manager snap-in (Start -> Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Internet Information Services).
    2. Select your /PhotoEditor folder in the site tree and right-click it to open a context menu.
    3. Choose Convert to Application.
  3. Set the modify permission for the /PhotoEditor/App_Data/PhotoEditor/Cache, /PhotoEditor/GraphicsMill /PublicCache, and /PhotoEditor/GraphicsMill/PrivateCache folders for the following accounts:
    1. IUSR_<machinename> and ASPNET accounts, if you run the server on Windows NT/2000/XP.
    2. NETWORK SERVICE group, if you run the server on Windows 2003.
    3. The account under which your site application pool is running (by default IIS_IUSRS), if you run the server on Windows Vista/7.
  4. If you use x64 version of IIS, you need to download x64 Graphics Mill binaries from Aurigma site and replace Graphics Mill DLLs in the /PhotoEditor/Bin folder with x64 ones. Another solution is to enable running of 32-bit applications for your site application pool:
    1. Open IIS Manager and select the Application Pools item in the tree.
    2. Right-click the application pool under which your site is running and select the Advanced Settings….
    3. Set the Enable 32-bit Applications parameter to true.
Aurigma Graphics Mill for .NET

Photo Editor is based on commercial Aurigma Graphics Mill for .NET and requires production license for being used on a live site. The additional information on pricing and licensing you can find in the Pricing and Licensing topic.

To get Photo Editor working you need to register Graphics Mill for .NET license keys on a machine where you are going to launch Photo Editor. Here you can register either trial license key with 60 days evaluation period or full license key and use Photo Editor as long as you like. Find the detailed instructions on how to register trial and full license keys in the How to evaluate Graphcis Mill for .NET and How to apply license keys topics respectively.

How to download

You can download Photo Editor package from our site.
