refresh without close the internet browser?

I've installed sample Php Library -> Ajax Demo. It's works fine, but I've modified the sample.

When the images are uploaded in the server, the old images (uploaded before) doesn't delete and if I make click in one image, it is removed on the server and delete his element in XML file (Descriptions.xml). It's work well, but I don't know how refresh the screen. I have to close the internet browser and load the web page again for see the result.

Is there anyway to update (refresh) the screen (imageuploader). I 've searched in the manual but I don't capable to fix it.

Thank's for your answer and sample. But I don't knew how resolve it. The file "upload.php" is the same than I use. And I've compared your files "index.php" and "gallery.php" of mine, and I don't see anything important diference.

In my tab "uploaded File" is I select the opcion "DELETE" the pic is delete in the server and descriptions.xml. I excute with ajax "script_eliminar_foto.php" to do this process .It works well.

The problem is than I have to close "internet explorer" and load the url again to see the results in the screen. I think there is a method or routine to refresh the screen, but I don't know to do it.

I saw my bug, when I modified the Ajax sample and put it in my web, I forget to copy the line:

"<?php header('Cache-Control: no-cache, no-store, max-age=0, must-revalidate'); ?>"

A lot hours lost, and headache for my fault. I'll have to change my googles
