Also, am I correct in thinking that with the current workarounds it will upload photo1 original, photo2 original, photo3 original, then photo1 thumb1, photo2 thumb1, photo3 thumb1, then photo1 thumb2, photo2 thumb2, photo3 thumb2? This doesn't really work for me either as none of the photos are completely uploaded and so for several days the photographer won't have a single photo up. Do you know when the version that supports multiple thumbs uploaded to Amazon S3 will be ready? I'm assuming that version will fix this bug?

Thank you, it is now working on my site.

Do you have any idea when the new version which fixes the multiple thumbs to Amazon S3 bug will be released? The current version is nearly useless on my site because not a single photo is fully uploaded until all photos have been uploaded. If the user is uploading 20GB of photos the upload could take as much as 3 or 4 days. The original photos will be uploaded first, and the entries will be added to the database. Until the thumbnail and large image are uploaded the photos will not work in the gallery. This is really really bad as the user does not have any photos up whatsoever for 3 or 4 days.

It's also very confusing to the user to see it go through the list of files three times. This is a HUGE problem for me.

Hello,

I realize that this is a problem. Image Uploader cannot send several thumbnails created from an image in different POST requests by design. That is why you were suggested to use workaround. We plan to implement the feature of sending thumbnails in different requests in Image Uploader 7.

So your image uploader which advertises Amazon S3 support actually does not support it and will require me to wait a year or more and then give you more money before I can actually use this product?Brick wall

Is it possible to upload the source file to Amazon and the two thumbnails to the web server and have everything flow in the proper order (source, thumb1, thumb2, source, thumb1, thumb2....)?

There is a way to upload images and thumbnails created from them one by one: source_image1, thumbnail1_image1, thumbnail2_image1, source_image2, thumbnail1_image2, thumbnail2_image2 and so on. We updated sample, please, find new version attached to this post.
