Are there plans to keep the original DPI when thumbnail images of your originals are created? Currently all thumbnails revert to 72dpi.

If so do you have a set date on when it will be released?

Hello,

ActiveX version keeps resolution but Java version - does not. We plan to add this functionality but unfortunately now I cannot tell you when it will be available in Java version.

Sincerely yours,

Since when? I not talking about the original image uploaded that gets uploaded this I know about. I am interested in the thumbnails, I like to keep the original DPI on my thumbnails and as it is now they get changed to 72dpi.

Hello,

We will consider implementation of this feature in one of the next releases. Most probably it will be include into version 6.0. Unfortunately the release date is not defined yet.

Sincerely yours,

Dmitry Sevostyanov

Hi, I'm currently testing your product and also stopped againt this lack...

Is it possible to change or at least check the image resoltion (e.g. dpi) at upload? (as we do for 'resize' with properties

iu.addParam("UploadThumbnail1Width", "1200") & iu.addParam("UploadThumbnail1Height", "1200");

let me know if your product match these needs, i will probably interesting for purchasing it....

thanks

Hello,

Image Uploader 6 Professional supports this functionality, you are able either to specify resolution of thumbnails created client-side or to copy resolution from original image to thumbnails. Please, read ImageUploader.UploadThumbnail1Resolution Property for details.
