Hi,

I was just wondering if the image uploader has the right interface to support photo upload of just one file? I looked at each of the 3 panes layout, and all of them are not suitable because they took up too much space.

If possible, I would like to emulate the flow of a HTML "File" input control. When a user clicks on an upload button, the user can then choose the 1 photo he likes to upload from the control. The photo will then be compressed by the image uploader, and sent to the server.

Please advise.

Thanks.

Hello,

The best solution which can be implemented with Image Uploader in your case would be one pane layout. In one pane layout mode, Image Uploader displays a single panel, which represents a list of files selected for upload. The user can fill this list by dragging files and dropping them onto the panel.

If you need to make users to specify one file only, you can make Image Uploader of small size and restrict maximum number of uploaded files equal to one.

Sincerely yours,
