Java Image Uploader 1.x - Getting a red-x

We have a couple of users that can't get install Java Image uploader 1.x in their Apple computers with OSX 10.4.x. We have tried everything we could:
1-Clearing Java cache, empty Safari cache and restarting the computer
2- Making everything JRE 1.4.2
3- Making everything JRE 1.5
They always get the red-X. Also, they never get the "Trust certificate" pop-up, they just get the coffee cup and then the red-X
Please help!
