We get this java.security.PrivilegedActionException sun.plugin.liveconnect.OriginNotAllowedException: Javascript is not from the same origin as the Java code, caller= , callee only on Mac - safari.

We are using ImageUploader 4.7 version and we have the jar file and the javascript on different domains. Is that the problem ?

Hello,

Yes, it can be security mechanism if LiveConnect. If you put jar and JavaScript on the same domain is it working?

Sincerely yours,

Dmitry Sevostyanov

Yes it works if it is on the same domain. But is there any other way ? It would be hard for us to have it in the same domain.

Hello,

I don't know the way to convince browser to allow cross-scripting. All these security checks are performed in browser's code - it seems that Mac/Safari has different realization of security checks.
