We get this java.security.PrivilegedActionException sun.plugin.liveconnect.OriginNotAllowedException: Javascript is not from the same origin as the Java code, caller= , callee only on Mac - safari. We are using ImageUploader 4.7 version and we have the jar file and the javascript on different domains. Is that the problem ?

Hello, Yes, it can be security mechanism if LiveConnect. If you put jar and JavaScript on the same domain is it working? |

Yes it works if it is on the same domain. But is there any other way ? It would be hard for us to have it in the same domain.

Hello, I don't know the way to convince browser to allow cross-scripting. All these security checks are performed in browser's code - it seems that Mac/Safari has different realization of security checks. |
