My company has bought the 5.1 Java release I not able to change the Color of the physically uploaded thumbnail Looking at the documentation there are red X's against all the different UploadThumbnailBackGroundColor, is it not supported any more? We're using the One panel view with JSP. Please Help, Nick

Hi Nick, UploadThumbnailBackgroundColor is supported in 5.1, but bear in mind that it affects only images with transparency, i.e. GIFs, PNGs and so on. There will be no difference when uploading jpeg photos. |

Ahh thanks.
We're uploading Docs, PDFS and things like that and getting a black background round the thumbnail. So I can't change this, only GIFs and PNGs?

Actually, thumbnail from PDF is just an icon, but in this case background color should be changed too. I’ve added this information to our bug tracking system. Hopefully it will be fixed in future versions.
Now you can use ActiveX version, it seems like it works fine for this.

Hello,
Thanks for the reply. The standard icon being created for a PDF does not have a Transparent Background so the ImageUploader.UploadThumbnail1BackgroundColor Property does not have any effect. Can you update your standard icons so they have a transparent background instead of a black one please.
Kind Regards
Nick
